About Us

A Solution Born from Postpartum Recovery

When nurse anesthetist and new Mom Danielle welcomed her baby in October 2024, she was told to sit and rest, but sitting HURT. After trying every standard cushion and donut available with no relief, she realized the market was missing a truly effective solution. Crying while breastfeeding around 3 AM, she invented the push present women actually need - The Tush Present™. Determined to create a product that would make pregnancy and postpartum recovery easier for other women, she set out on a mission to develop a proper prototype and make The Tush Present available to support as many women as possible through challenging and vulnerable times.

Danielle reached out to her longtime friend, Lauren, who had been navigating the challenges of infertility. They connected deeply over the universal struggles of motherhood and realized the serious, unmet need for better pregnancy and postpartum wellness products.

Together they're pursuing a clear mission: to support women during one of the most exciting, yet vulnerable times in their lives.

How do I care for and use my cushion?

Care: Your Tush Present cushion is made from waterproof fabric and the filling is anti-microbial and moisture-wicking. We suggest spot cleaning the cushion itself. While the cover of the cushion is washable, we are actively working on finding a way to offer removable, washable covers. Every sale will help us to get there, stay tuned!

Use: The opening of the cushion is specifically design to keep the entire vag to tush area suspended in the air. The back is open to accommodate for grade 3 and 4 tears, as as well as hemorrhoids and can be further spread apart or brought closer together for different body types. If you don't need the back open, feel free to flip the cushion the other way! The Tush Present has also been loved by Moms for back support while pregnant, breastfeeding, and healing from a C-section. Use it in your house, at a restaurant, a bar, a stadium. It is even luxe enough to use on a chair at wedding reception! The possibilities are endless.

Can I use this pillow as a nursing pillow or infant support pillow?

The Tush Present was invented and designed specifically for adult use to optimize comfort while sitting. We recommend the product for back support and sitting support for adults only. We have not done the product testing for The Tush Present to be used on infants, and therefore, we do not recommend or endorse infant use in any capacity.

What is the cushion’s filling made of?

The filling is made of Kapok, a natural organic non-endocrine disrupting material found in the rainforest. You can adjust the firmness of your cushion by taking Kapok out or adding more into the cushion. When you are done with your cushion the Kapok can be planted in soil and used as natural fertilizer in your yard or garden.

What are your shipping times?

As a small business we are working to get you your cushion as fast as possible, but we do suggest ordering 3 weeks before you give birth. If you're in a lot of discomfort and need a cushion ASAP please select 1-2 day shipping and reach out to us via email at danielle@tushpresent.com with your order number.

What do I do if something happens with my Tush Present?

Each Tush Present is handsewn by women in the USA. It is quality tested prior to being shipped out. We take pride in the design, high-quality materials and seamstress work.
